Introduction
The English Course BHV Emergency Response is a course that is obligated by the Dutch Law.
Therefore employers need to train their employees as response team officers.
Subsequently those officers can assist in first aid and help with unexpected calamities such as fire.
In the Netherlands the Emergency Response Team is called ” BHV”. This is an abbreviation of ” Bedrijfshulpverlening ” which means Company Emergency Assistance.
Learning objectives
In this Course for Emergency Response Team members you will be learning the following topics:
First Aid
- Alarm and general emergency response team practices
- Life saving actions like Rautek
- Quick treatments for wounds, burns, eye, injuries, broken bones and dislocations etc.
- Reanimation with and without AED
Firefighting and evacuation
- Fire hazard and specific dangers.
- Tasks of the Emergency response team during fire and evacuation
- Extinguishing and materials
- Preparation of evacuation and communication during evacuation
Timing
The English Course BHV Emergency Response wil take about 3 hours of your time. However you can start and stop your learning any moment you like. In addition the system will save your progress so you can easily resume wherever you left.
